While Chelsea’s 4-0 defeat by London rivals Arsenal is healing wounds for players and fans alike, Pride of London thought we’d take a lighter approach with one of today’s articles. Today we are going to look at the amazing game Fantasy Premier League. A cheerful, if stressful, annual test of football knowledge, statistical analysis and expectations. PoL would like to suggest some fun team names from around the web, with particular reference to the blues. Along with some of our own silly but hopefully humorous titles for your group this season. Apologies in advance for some of the puns that came to mind today. However, putting it together was a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining experience – especially on a Monday morning.
Before we get literal, I’ll start by proposing three new additions from CFC for your 2022-23 team. Reece James should definitely be among the top three most wanted defenders in the FPL this season. Only Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold – and possibly Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo – comes anywhere close to the Chels star in terms of potential performance. There’s also a reasonable chance the Blues will concede the fewest goals, or around that level. Second, I already have Mason Mount in my collective. The England international’s trustworthiness is what makes him so underrated. In addition, he appears consistently in front of goal and shows himself unselfishly when teammates are better placed. Finally, I think Kai Havertz only surpasses Raheem Sterling as the winger may need some time to settle down. While the German will almost certainly play as a sort of No. 9 for Thomas Tuchel this upcoming season.

My personal favorites from our collection are of course those of Mateo Kovacic; The English fans will surely appreciate it. I was also kind of happy with Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s performance. Edouard Mendy’s plays to the melody of Steven Gerrard’s infamous song. Oh, and I appreciate the Jorginho tribute.
